Combined resistance

Okay just know that the resistance of the combination of these two is smaller than the smallest resistor so what it means is that if you use that formula for our parallel which is equals to R obviously of 14 is it 14, it's 14 plus that what is this is two? The other parallel that you get the value that you get must be smaller than the smallest resistor of these two.

So if two is the smallest obviously you've got 14 and 22 is the smallest so your answer should be smaller than two if for some reason you're requested to calculate the combination or the R parallel of these two connection and you get a value which is greater than two then you know your answer it's incorrect.

Okay so that means you must find a value which is less than the smallest resistor, okay so guys I think for now we can straight away answer the questions, okay I hope as we answer the questions we'll be able to learn some more but as I've indicated I'm going to do a very special lesson where I'll be focusing on these two types of connections then from there you should be having a better understanding.

So guys let's see the first question okay I see the first question they're saying state ohm law in words. Okay state ohm's law in words, I won't waste time on this one so what I can advise you is that if you have a definition of your own you can always state that definition it could be a definition from a book definition from you know from your teacher definition from your tutor, your mentor whoever give you the definition you can always state that definition it doesn't necessarily mean that the one that I'm going to state is the one that you should use okay.
